Four product lines, four worlds to discover.

Linea N Edition

The rebranding of our products and the release of the new NORITA logo have placed emphasis on a simple, original, and distinctive design. The new look is available in retail formats for our Norwegian, Scottish, Wild, and Faroese salmon lines in the "N-Edition" version, with a strong reference to our new logo.

  • Norwegian salmon

It respects the traditional artisanal processes of the fjord region, using salmon from select sources and a controlled supply chain. The quality and attention to detail, in line with Norwegian high standards, make it a must-have for connoisseurs.

  • Scottish salmon

It preserves the flavor of the sea: the meat is flavorful and delicate, processed freshly caught. The smoking process, which uses a blend of fine woods, creates a quality with an intense flavor to satisfy the most discerning palates.

  • Wild salmon

Born in the crystal-clear rivers of Alaska, it feeds on the region's pristine produce. Its smoked flesh, with the characteristic deep red color of wild Pacific salmon, is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and protein.

  • Faroe Islands Salmon

In the heart of the Northern European seas, at the center of the Iceland-Norway-Scotland triangle, in the small Faroe Islands, fishing has always been the heart of their life and economy. Salmon farming takes place in the pristine waters of the open sea, traversed by strong currents that keep the salmon healthy and prevent seabed pollution. Quality and respect for the environment are their mantra.

Premium Line

The Premium line, another flagship of the Norita selection, includes various weights of Norwegian salmon from select farms, certified according to the strictest European regulations and still processed today using traditional methods (fresh processing), in complete safety, to guarantee excellent organoleptic qualities.

  • The Taste

The delicate taste and nutritional richness make these products a delight suitable for any occasion.

Linea Black Label

Norita caters to the needs of even the most discerning consumers, who are also attentive to high quality, with a line of economy-sized Norwegian salmon, available both in fillets and in convenient pouches of various weights. The salmon packaged in the Black Label pouch, always processed fresh, is particularly useful for professional operators, local retailers, and large-scale retailers, and for anyone seeking products with an excellent quality/price ratio.

Superior Line

For over 25 years, Norita has been importing 100% Norwegian smoked salmon.

The product, following an integrated supply chain approach, is raised, freshly processed, and smoked entirely in Norway, according to the time-honored tradition of Norwegian master smokers. Its delicate flavor is enhanced precisely by the high-quality processing and light hand-salting.

  • Seafood from Norway

The Superior line is marked with the Norwegian quality mark "Seafood from Norway," a guarantee of protection and promotion of products from the world's leading salmon producer. This line is 100% Norwegian, from salmon fishing to the packaging of the finished smoked product.

Scottish Line

Norita takes great care in selecting the finest Scottish salmon: sustainably caught in the azure waters of Scotland, cold-smoked over oak and beech wood in characteristic red-brick ovens dating back to the mid-1800s, it is sliced long, a typical Scottish practice that gives the slice a distinctive shape but also an unparalleled flavour.

  • Formats

Norita offers this refined product both in sticks and in bags.

Wild Line

The Norita catalog cannot fail to feature the most prized of all salmon varieties: wild Alaskan salmon. This latter denomination comprises five species, and our company has specifically selected Red King and Sockeye.

  • Red King

The Red King is Alaska's largest species. It can grow up to one meter long and weighs between 8 and 9 kg on average. It is intensely colored and large; being a wild salmon, its flesh is extremely firm.

  • Sockeye

Sockeye salmon, also caught in the cold waters of Alaska, is carefully processed (dry-cured by hand with sea salt) and smoked over fine beech wood. Its distinctive features are its intense red color and full, persistent yet delicate flavor. Once consumed only during festive occasions, today they are an indispensable part of the diet for the most discerning gourmets.

Scraps Line

For lovers of salmon-based delicacies, Norita offers a carefully selected selection of salmon trimmings of various weights, sourced from Norway and Scotland.

  • In the kitchen

Highly versatile in the kitchen, the offcuts line fits perfectly with the needs of a modern diet.

Brine Line

Norita has selected the most important European and Italian producers to guarantee consumers the highest quality standards.

  • Shrimp in warm and cold seas

A ready-to-eat product made with cooked and peeled shrimp, making it extremely convenient for many culinary preparations. Originally from tropical seas, warm-water shrimp are larger in size and have firm flesh, an attractive appearance, and a distinctive flavor.

From the cold seas of the Arctic Circle come "Pandalus," a small-sized shrimp with flavorful, tender white flesh. Ideal for a gourmet shrimp cocktail.

  • Salmon Eggs and Caviar Substitutes Line

Fish roe varies greatly in taste and price depending on the species. The best are those from wild Alaskan salmon: larger, bright orange in color, free from artificial colorings and preservatives, and with a strong flavor. Lumpfish roe, found primarily in Iceland, and capelin roe, a small Nordic fish, are the most common caviar substitutes.

    Gusto

Extremely delicate, ideal as an accompaniment or condiment, caviar substitutes are an excellent, versatile, and economical alternative to caviar, highly appreciated in Japanese cuisine and, more generally, in gastronomic fusion.

  • Surimi

Brined surimi, a gastronomic preparation based on fish proteins, is one of the most popular products among young people due to its particularly suitable flavour for all occasions.

  • Seafood salads

Norita pickled marie salads are designed for all those customers who want to skip the initial processing stage (cooking) and have an immediately fresh product that can be seasoned as they like for an excellent Italian appetizer.

Gourmet Line

The Gourmet line is Norita's true incubator of innovation. Dedicated to ageless gourmets eager to explore new oases of culinary delight, this line demonstrates the tremendous success of products that don't usually get their due in mainstream distribution channels, but which, through careful information, can be discovered and appreciated in all their deliciousness.

Bottarghe Line

Mullet and tuna bottarga have often been called the caviar of the Mediterranean, and rightly so, given their delicacy and, above all, their impossibility of finding them, at least until a few decades ago.

The product is salted, pressed, dried, and preserved for varying lengths of time, according to an ancient process. It finds one of its most successful expressions in Sardinia, perhaps because it has been produced there since the arrival of the Phoenicians, and today Norita prides itself on bringing it to the tables of its loyal customers as an appetizer, a hearty condiment, or a main course.

  • Product

Produced without preservatives or additives, it is available grated and whole.

Smoked

Other delicacies from the Norita selection include smoked swordfish and tuna fillets, obtained from the finest part of the fish: the fillet. These products are distinguished by their tender flesh and delicate smoking, thanks to drying in humidity- and temperature-controlled cells and hand-salting. We also offer herring, completely deboned, wood-smoked, and quickly vacuum-packed to preserve the firmness and fragrance of the meat and offer Norita consumers a unique taste experience.

Specialties

The Norita product range is enriched year after year with new specialties: from squid ink to marinated anchovy and mackerel fillets, from sea urchin pulp to salmon creams and seafood pates, spreadable and with a delicate flavor, ideal complements for pleasant appetizers or tasty snacks.

Frozen Food Line

This line features natural skinless Norwegian salmon fillets, packaged in convenient 125g x 2 slices. This product is untreated and contains no added ingredients, enhancing the flavor of its firm, oily flesh. Two to three servings a week are enough to meet our omega-3 fatty acid needs and are an excellent source of antioxidants, protein, iodine, and vitamins D, A, and B12. Furthermore, it complies with the ASC global standards for responsible fish farming.

Fish is frozen immediately after fishing to preserve flavor, nutritional value, and quality.
